China Glaze Rendezvous With You

For today's post I will be sharing with you my favorite color from the China Glaze Autumn Nights collection - Rendezvous With You. I think this is the most interesting and beautiful polish in this collection, and I was very glad I got it because this is truly a great polish.

China Glaze Rendezvous With You is a gorgeous dark purple with tons of silver shimmer that almost gives it a foil look. The color itself is very interesting and it looks great in different lighting, each time he light brings out something different and interesting about this polish.
The formula was spectacular! It was super opaque with just one coat, spread easily without streaking and dried really fast. I don't think you can ask for anything better than this in a polish.
For the photos below I applied one coat, no top coat on.
I think this is a great polish in every aspect, and for me it easily became one of my favorites for the upcoming fall-winter season. Defiantly one of my best purchases lately!
Have you tried this color yet? I would love to know what you think about it, and if you haven't got the chance to try it, I would totally recommend you to keep an eye on this gorgeous polish, I have a feeling you will end up liking is as much as I do.

Shimmer Sarah

Today I have another gorgeous glitter by Shimmer Polish to share with you ladies.
This lovely glitter is Shimmer Sarah, it's a beautiful mix of teal, blue, purple and gold glitter. There is also a very delicate shimmer added to this polish, and it's all mixed in a slightly teal tinted base.
This shade is one of my favorite Shimmer polishes, it reminds me of a mermaid's tail, such a gorgeous and magical glitter!

I decided to create another glitter gradient with this polish, and layered it over a blue base. I applied two coats of  Barry M Blue Grape as the base (a beautiful royal blue shade, in a creme-jelly formula), then applied the glitter at the tips and pulled it towards the cuticle, creating a fading look.
The base wasn't opaque completely at the free edge, so the glitter gradient was a great solution and covered the edges perfectly. As I've mentioned at my previous post featuring Shimmer polish, their formula is great for creating glitter gradients thanks to the variety of glitter sizes and the fact that you can get a generous amount of glitter with a single stroke.
I applied one coat of Seche Vite to smooth the glitter and add a shine to this look.
I think the final look of this manicure is quite lovely, the blue shade combined with this glitter makes me think of a magical mermaids swimming in a sparkly blue sea.
I hope you like this design, I would love to hear your thought about it.

China Glaze Red-y & Willing

Shana Tova (Happy Jewish New Year) to all my dear readers!
For this festive holiday I decided to wear one of my new additions from the China Glaze Autumn Nights collection. I've purchased only three colors from this collection so far, but seeing swatches of these great colors only makes me want to get them all.

China Glaze Red-y & Willing is a gorgeous shimmery red. It has a fantastic and opaque formula, I just needed one coat for a great coverage. Application was really nice, not streaky at all and the finish was quite glossy. I really love this color and I think it's a classy and feminine shade.
For the photos I applied one coat of Red-y & Willing and topped it with one coat of Poshe.
I decided to get a little creative for Rosh Hashana, so I included in my photos pomegranate seeds which are one of this holiday's symbols.
I wish you a great year filled with joy, love and creativity!

Shimmer Tricia

Today I have another polish by Shimmer Nail Polish to share with you.
This is Shimmer Tricia, a lovely mix of orange glitter, and as expected from this great indie brand, there is much more to it than plain orange.
Up close you will see a bright and colorful mix of orange, gold, and even purple with blue glitter, and if you look closely at the macro shot of this polish you will see some silver micro glitter.
This festive combination of colors mixed with a slightly orange tinted jelly base, so I decided to layer it over an orange tinted red - Barry M Passion Fruit.

For the photos below I used one coat of Shimmer Tricia over two coats of Barry M Passion Fruit, and one coat of Seche Vite.
Application of Tricia was flawless, the glitter spread like butter and with a few easy strokes I got a gorgeous glittery look. I like Shimmer nail polish for their great glitter-packed formula and easy application.
I really love how bright and fun this manicure looks, and even tho I don't usually wear orange, this fun look made me want to do this more often.
Hope you will like this look, I would love to hear what you think about this!

Shimmer Jennifer

In this post I want to share with you one of the Shimmer Polish glitter manicures I made recently, this is probably one of my favorites. I decided to create a glitter gradient with the beautiful Shimmer Jennifer over a dark color.
As the base for this manicure I applied two coats of GA-DE Blue Blood (472) which is a gorgeous dark navy color.
Then I applied Shimmer Jennifer over the tips and pulled the glitter to the center of the nail with the brush, creating this glitter gradient look. I sealed the design with one coat of Seche Vite (I usually prefer the good old Poshe, but my SV got a bit thick and I though it could be a good way to smooth the glitter and flatten the design).
I really adore the final look, I think the colors work so well together and that the dark base makes the glitter pop.

At first glance Shimmer Jennifer appears to be a beautiful soft blue glitter, but when you look closely you can see a mix of glitter in various colors that makes the polish so much prettier!
Like all colors from Shimmer Nail Polish, which are very unique and gorgeous glitter bombs, this polish is also packed with a generous amount of glitter that allows you to create easy glitter gradients. The variety of glitter shapes and sizes is exactly what you need for this task, and with a few easy strokes you get a pretty glittery manicure.

I have created some more looks with the pretty Shimmer polishes, which I will be showing in the next few post. Hope you liked this look, I would love to hear your thought on it.
